flower-garden-blue-sky-hokkaido-japan-60628Looking at my status and Instagram posts many asked me about it. The coloured rice for our sensory bin is one of our favourite tasks since babyA is  9 months old. We have used those coloured rice in sensory bottle, sensory bin where the kids can touch, feel and explore the bin of rice with scoops, hands etc. This is one of the easiest inexpensive way to keep your baby/toddler engaged for hours. The different coloured rice can be saved for future play too! if stocked proper it will be there for many months. It’s easy to make them. Attaching the recipe for the followers!!

What is needed?
1 cup uncooked rice
1 tsp food colour
1 Ziploc bag

Procedure
The rice must be poured into the Ziploc bag.
Next the food colour must be mixed with the rice.
Seal the bag and shake it for a good ten minutes till it gets spreaded and mixed.
Once mixed transfer the content to a tray and leave it for few hours to dry.
Once dried it can be used for the bin  and start exploring with it. Hope you liked this and if you like it please do share.
